Once you have completed a loan application we will need you to submit a little supporting documentation before it can be passed to our loans officers for processing.
Please ensure you are able to supply the following before submitting a loan application.
New/First Loan Applications
- Bank Statements
Last 2 months bank statements for all accounts that you hold including Savings Accounts
- Wage Slips
If you are currently employed we ask you to submit your last 2 months or 6 weeks wage slips.
- Two forms of Identification (New Members Only)
To comply with Anti Money Laundering Regulations we need to receive 2 forms of identification before opening an account, one confirming who you are and a second to confirm your address. Examples include, Driving Licence, Passport, Utility Bill or Benefits letter dated within the last 3 months, wage slip or Council Tax bill.
Top Up Loan Applications
- Bank Statements
Please supply bank statements for all accounts that you hold covering at least the last month.
Applications will only be considered once supporting documents have been received. Unfortunately we are unable to accept screenshots of your bank statements.
How to supply your supporting documents
If you use online banking or a banking app, the quickest and simplest way to submit your bank statements is via open banking. Once you have submitted your loan application you will automatically be directed to our open banking page which will take you through the simple process.
Alternatively you can download PDF statements from your online banking and email them to us at firstname.lastname@example.org (Chester Office) or email@example.com (Ellesmere Port Office)
Members who do not have online banking can, as always, post or drop off paper statements at our Chester or Ellesmere Port offices.
Wage Slips/Identity Documents where applicable
You can send a copy or screenshot of your wage slips/identity documents to us by email at firstname.lastname@example.org (Chester Office) or email@example.com (Ellesmere Port Office.
Alternatively you can post or drop off paper versions at either our Chester or Ellesmere Port offices.
Applications cannot be passed to our loans officers and processed until the above supporting documents are received. If supporting documents are not submitted within 14 days your application will be cancelled and you will need to reapply should you wish to proceed.
