Before completing this application....
Once you have completed a loan application we will need you to submit supporting documentation before it can be passed to our loans officers for processing.
Please ensure you are able to supply the following:
New/First Loan Applications
- Bank Statements - Last 2 months bank statements for all accounts you hold including savings accounts.
- Two forms of identification (new members only) - to comply with Anti Money Laundering Regulations we need to receive 2 forms of identification before opening an account, one confirming who you are and a second to confirm your address. Examples include, Driving Licence, Passport, Utility Bill or Benefits letter dated within the last 3 months, wage slip or Council Tax bill.

Bank Statements
If you use online banking or a banking app, the quickest and simplest way to submit your bank statements is via open banking. Once you have submitted your loan application you will automatically be directed to our open banking page which will take you through the simple process.
Alternatively you can download PDF statements from your online banking and email them to us at loans@wccu.co.uk
Members who do not have online banking can, as always, post or drop off paper statements at our Chester or Ellesmere Port (Thursdays only) offices

The Uniform Loan
Our uniform loan is here to support parents/carers/guardians with the costs of school uniform.
The uniform loan can be repaid via child benefit or standing order.
The loan can not be “topped up” and must be repaid over a year by either weekly, fortnightly, 4 weekly or monthly repayments.
You can apply for up to £500 with this loan and is subject to affordability.
Please note you can only have one loan active with the credit union at a time.
Applications will be taken from the 22nd July 2024 to the 30th August 2024

Applications cannot be passed to our loans officers and processed until the above supporting documents are received. If supporting documents are not submitted within 14 days your application will be cancelled and you will need to reapply should you wish to proceed.
