Junior Membership Applications.
Junior accounts can be opened for any child or young person under the age of 16 who lives or attends school within Cheshire however applications can only be submitted by a parent, guardian or person with parental responsibility.
You can download a junior membership application form here or you can call one of offices and we will post one out to you to complete.
Due to Anti Money Laundering Regulations as part of the application process we will need to confirm the identity of both the child or young person named on the account as well as the adult opening the account on their behalf.
Both the junior member and the adult who opened the account will need to sign any withdrawal requests, assuming the child is old enough to sign. Please note that once the child turns 16 the account will automatically convert to a standard adult saving account held in the juniors name only. From this time the adult that opened the account will no longer have access to any of the account details and will be unable to request any withdrawals or receive statements.
There is no membership fee for junior members to open account.
