Director

Joanna Crosse

Jo joined the Board in July 2021 and has over 25 years of experience in the financial services sector, working for organisations including Aviva, MBNA, HBOS and Bupa.  Her background in statistics and love of numbers (yes, she knows she is in the minority!) resulted in her specialising in marketing and customer insight using data and customer behaviour and feedback to improve marketing and shape service, campaigns and products that work better for customers.  As the pandemic hit in 2020, Jo found opportunities to connect into the local community and now volunteers at Deeside vaccination centre and for a Cheshire based befriending charity.  She is delighted to become a director for WCCU to enable her to continue to use her skills to benefit the community she lives in.

In her spare time, Jo enjoys cycling, running and walking and finding ways to enjoy the great outdoors to give a boost to her mental and physical wellbeing.

In his spare time, Craig spends time with his family, he has been married for 13 years to Tina and has two daughters, Rebecca and Seren.  He enjoys reading, listening to music and quizzing.

Director

Kevin Morris

Drawing on 40 years plus financial services experience from roles within Banking, Building Societies, Financial Services Product Providers, International Training Bodies, Consultancy and not least as an IFA Principal enables Kevin to embrace any challenges faced by West Cheshire Credit Union from a rounded perspective.

Kevin believes passionately that the need to manage customer expectations with an open, collaborative, and inclusive approach has never been greater and this combined with the ability to listen in a caring compassionate manner is to Kevin, what WCCU is all about.

During these very strange and demanding times Kevin recognises that our customers very much value the opportunity to visit our branches, telephone our staff or simply share a particular problem or issue.  As a members-based organisation WCCU embraces inclusivity with aplomb and he is simply proud to be part of such a caring, nurturing body.  Evolution, not revolution, is key and his personal aim is to support the Credit Union, its members, and the wider West Cheshire community, and indeed beyond, in making sure that we champion clarity and simplicity in the development and marketing of the services we offer and not least ensure that our customers remain at the heart of our thinking.
